Xiaomi, the rising global technology brand, just formally launched their newest flagship phone in China today. The Xiaomi 13 as well as the Xiaomi 13 Pro, which is unbelievably equipped with a powerful camera, is now official!

The Xiaomi 13 boasts a 6.36′′ full HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) OLED with 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HLG, and up to 1900nits of brightness, which is somewhat bigger than the Xiaomi 12.
It is powered by the latest Qualcomm’s 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU with 8GB or 12GB LPDDR5X RAM under the hood. Xiaomi is also offering this smartphone with storage options of 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB, but without a microSD card expansion port.
With regards to the cameras, the Xiaomi 13’s camera setup includes a 50MP IMX 800 primary camera with Hyper OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and a 10MP 3.2x telephoto camera.

The Xiaomi 13 Pro, on the other hand has a bigger 6.73-inch LTPO AMOLED (3200 x 1440 pixels) with Gorilla Glass Victus protection. It also has a 120Hz variable refresh rate, 1920Hz DC dimming, ambient color temperature sensor, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, QHD+ 3200 x 1440 resolution, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. It is also IP68 water and dust resistant.
For its insides, the device has a 4,820mAh battery with USB-C 120W fast charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging. It also has a 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, New Adreno GPU, 1.3 million AnTuTu score, 8GB or 12GB LPDDR5X RAM, up to 512GB UFS 4.0 RAM (the 128GB variant only has UFS 3.1), and a 512GB UFS 4.0 RAM slot.
As for Xiaomi 13 Pro’s greatest and exciting feature, it incredibly partnered and now uses a Leica-tuned camera system with a legitimate 50MP trio. A huge 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor with an f/1.9 aperture, 1.6-micron pixels, and Hyper OIS technology makes up the first 50-megapixel camera. The next two cameras are a 50MP f/2.0 75mm 3x telephoto zoom camera and a 50MP f/2.2 14mm 115-degree ultra-wide-angle camera with a 10cm focusing distance. You get a 32MP camera for selfies.

As an addition, Xiaomi incorporated the Surge G1 and P1 chips for a safer charging feature of the devices. Both phones also come pre-installed with the latest MIUI 14 overlay on top of Android 13.
The other specifications also include dual SIM slots, GPS (L1 + L5), NavIC, Dolby Atmos-tuned stereo speakers with head tracking, WiFi 6E, 5G SA/NSA, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and Hi-Res Audio for high performance and efficiency.
Prices and Availability
The Xiaomi 13, which is now available on other countries, has a price range that starts at RMB3999 (Php31,800) for the 8GB/128GB configuration and goes all the way to RMB4999 (Php39,800) for the 12GB/512GB configuration.
On the other hand, starting at RMB4,999 (Php39,800) for the 8GB/128GB configuration, the Xiaomi 13 Pro goes up to an availability of RMB6,299 (Php51,200) for the 12GB/512GB configuration.
A new nano-tech substance that is resistant to photodegradation and peeling white has also been introduced by Xiaomi. These features are all incorporated in a Mountain Blue color choice, keeping it smooth and pleasant to the touch with a delicate texture. Ceramic White, Ceramic Black, and Ceramic Flora Green are additional phone color options which are all aesthetically pleasing to the eye.
