Over the past few years, the most attractive gaming offer has been one month of Game Pass at the cost of one dollar (₱49.00). Microsoft’s introductory offer for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass subscription not only provides a great way to explore the service but also allows you to play new releases for the entire month at an incredibly low cost.
In June 2017, Xbox Game Pass was launched and soon after, the $1 trial subscription offers became available. Two years later, in 2019, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate was introduced, which combines the benefits of an Xbox Live Gold membership with access to Game Pass’ console and PC libraries for a monthly fee of $14.99 (₱815.76).
What happens when the Microsoft Xbox Game Pass subscription expires?
Even if you have downloaded and are currently subscribed, the games will stop working once they are removed from Game Pass. If you cancel your subscription and later resubscribe, you will have access to the same games as any other current subscriber, which are the ones currently available.
The price of Xbox Game Pass has remained stable for a considerable period of time. Nevertheless, it’s highly probable that the current rate of $14.99 for Game Pass Ultimate won’t be sustained indefinitely. In the previous year, Phil Spencer from Xbox mentioned that “at some point we’ll have to raise some prices on certain things.” Following this statement, Microsoft announced a price increase on new, first-party games to $70, joining Sony in this move.
