Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy Z Fold7 last night at the Galaxy Unpacked event.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 is the lightest and thinnest Fold yet at just 215g and 8.9mm thick when folded.
It sports a 6.5-inch cover display with a 21:9 aspect ratio and a larger 8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x main screen, now 11% bigger than before, with up to 2,600 nits brightness and Vision Booster for outdoor visibility.
Under the hood, it runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, with 41% faster NPU, 38% better CPU, and 26% GPU improvements over its predecessor. It also debuts One UI 8 on Android 16, integrating multimodal AI tools like Gemini Live, Circle to Search, Drag & Drop AI, and AI Results View.
For camera, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 is the first Galaxy Fold to feature a 200MP wide-angle camera, delivering 4x more detail and 44% brighter images, alongside upgraded Night Video, 10-bit HDR, and AI-powered editing tools like Generative Edit, Photo Assist, and Audio Eraser.
The build has also been reinforced with a new Armor FlexHinge, Titanium plate, and Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 for improved durability. The Ultra-Thin Glass on the main display is now 50% thicker.
Samsung also enhances security with Knox KEEP and post-quantum cryptography in Secure Wi-Fi.
