Nothing just launched its new Nothing Phone (4a) Series that includes Nothing Phone (4a) and Nothing Phone (4a) Pro.

The Nothing Phone (4a) Pro got a big refresh; it boasts a redesigned camera island featuring a 57% larger Glyph Matrix with 63 mini-LEDs that are twice as bright compared to the Phone (3).

Beside the Glyph Matrix is the camera setup that boasts the world’s first 140x ultra zoom. This setup consists of a 50MP Sony LYT-700C main camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), a 50MP JN5 3.5x telephoto lens with OIS, an 8MP Sony IMX355 ultra-wide lens, and a 32MP wide front camera.
It also has a large 6.83-inch Flexible AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, up to 5,000 nits max brightness, 10-bit color,and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection.
Under the hood, the Phone (4a) Pro is powered by a 4nm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. This device is packed with a 5,080mAh battery capacity that supports 50W wired charging.

Meanwhile, the Nothing Phone (4a) also receives a design refresh but still has the same layout as its predecessor, especially the camera island.
This phone also boasts better zooming capabilities, thanks to its new 50MP 3.5x telephoto lens that supports up to 70x digital zoom, accompanied by a 50MP Samsung GN9 main camera with OIS, an 8MP Sony IMX355 ultra-wide lens, and a 32MP wide selfie camera.
Moreover, it features a large 6.78-inch Flexible AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 10-Bit color, up to 4,500 nits max brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection.
The Phone (4a) is powered by the 4nm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 octa-core chipset. It is also paired with up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. For battery, this device also features a large 5,080mAh battery that supports 50W wired charging.
Both phones run Nothing OS 4.1 based on Android 16 out of the box.
Initial thoughts
These two new phones look very promising as both come with notable upgrades. Based on their spec sheets, I can say they offer well-balanced features that most users are looking for. Design-wise, both devices also stand out and look quite unique.
At the end of the day, it will likely come down to their pricing once they officially arrive in the Philippines. Hopefully, we’ll also get the chance to try them out soon.

Price and Availability
As of writing, there are still no official details regarding the local pricing and availability of these devices.
However, like other Nothing phones, they will most likely be available through Digital Walker and open_source by Beyond the Box once they arrive in the Philippines.
