HONOR has officially launched the HONOR Magic V6 in China, introducing a new foldable smartphone that focuses on battery capacity, performance, and improved display technology.
One of its standout features is the large battery, which HONOR claims is the biggest ever used on a foldable smartphone.
HONOR Magic V6 specs and features
The HONOR Magic V6 features a 6.52-inch OLED cover display with a 2420 x 1080 resolution, 1–120Hz adaptive refresh rate, and up to 2000 nits of global peak brightness with 6000 nits local peak brightness. It also supports 4320Hz high-frequency PWM dimming and is protected by HONOR’s Black Diamond Screen technology.
While it also features a 7.95-inch OLED main display with a 2352 x 2172 resolution and the same 1–120Hz adaptive refresh rate. The panel reaches up to 1300 nits global peak brightness and 5000 nits local peak brightness while also supporting 4320Hz PWM dimming.
HONOR says the new foldable screen features a 44 percent improvement in crease reduction and uses ultra-thin glass protection.
For cameras, the HONOR Magic V6 is equipped with a triple rear camera system consisting of a 50MP main camera with f/1.6 aperture and OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 64MP OmniVision OV64B periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, OIS, and up to 100x digital zoom. It also includes laser autofocus.
For selfies, the phone has 20MP front cameras on both the cover and main displays.
Powering the device is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.1 internal storage. The phone runs MagicOS 10 based on Android 16 out of the box.
Battery capacity varies by model. Most variants pack a 6,850mAh battery, while the top-end 16GB + 1TB model features a larger 7,150mAh battery. The phone supports 80W wired charging and 66W wireless charging.
The foldable also includes Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, USB-C (USB 3.2 Gen 1), an IR blaster, stereo speakers, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The HONR Magic V6 is now available for pre-order in China, with official sales starting on March 13, 2026. A global launch is expected in the second quarter of the year following its appearance at MWC 2026, with markets such as the UK, Europe, and the Philippines reportedly included.
