Sharp Philippines recently showcased its latest innovations and future technologies during the “In Step With Your Future” Media Conference and Dealers’ Appreciation Night held at Solaire Resort North on May 20, 2026.
The Japanese brand introduced three dedicated exhibit booths featuring its current product lineup, newly launched devices, and future product concepts, highlighting Sharp’s evolving direction focused on practical innovation and everyday convenience.
The event also marked the introduction of Sharp’s new slogan, “In Step With Your Future,” replacing the long-running “Be Original” tagline.

“It reflects our commitment to look beyond technology and focus on real life — to understand the challenges people are facing today and to offer solutions one step ahead of time. Sharp will continue to deliver products that make everyday life better,” said Sharp Philippines President and General Manager, Masahiro Akiyoshi.
According to Akiyoshi, Sharp continues to focus on delivering value through health, comfort, energy savings, and entertainment rather than simply competing on price.
Sharp Showcases Current Product Lineup
The first booth highlighted Sharp’s existing lineup of televisions, refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, air purifiers, audio products, and small appliances. The company emphasized technologies designed to improve convenience, comfort, and home entertainment for Filipino households.

The second booth served as the official launch platform for Sharp’s newest products.
For televisions, Sharp introduced several upcoming AQUOS models featuring 4K Google TV, HDR, and Dolby Audio technologies.

Leading the lineup is the AQUOS JJ5000X Series available in 50-inch, 55-inch, 60-inch, 65-inch, 75-inch, and 85-inch variants. The series features the new “SUIREN-粋錬-” metal stand design, a V8 Revelation Processor, and 120Hz High Refresh Mode for HDMI input. The series is expected to launch in July.

New Home Appliances and AIoT Products
Sharp also introduced its latest home appliance lineup, including new 2-door top mount refrigerators with larger Mega Freezer capacities ranging from 15.5 to 16.2 cu. ft.
For laundry appliances, the company launched new top-load non-inverter washing machines in 8kg and 10.5kg capacities. Meanwhile, the 13kg and 17kg inverter variants feature Direct Drive Motors for quieter and more efficient washing performance, along with waterproof capacitive touch panels.

Sharp also expanded its air purifier lineup with the new FX-S82 model available in Black and Gray. Designed for rooms up to 62 square meters, the purifier features Purefit design and AIoT functionality and is expected to arrive in September.
In the air conditioning category, Sharp previewed the AH-XP10DHF series available in 1.0HP, 1.5HP, 2.0HP, and 2.5HP variants. The model includes a Fresh Dry Function, AIoT support, 14°C minimum temperature setting, and Super Jet Mode capable of rapidly cooling rooms in as fast as five minutes.
Sharp said its AIoT integration allows users to remotely monitor and control cooling settings through a mobile app while learning user preferences over time to improve comfort and energy efficiency.

Future Technologies Previewed
The third booth featured future product concepts that may eventually arrive in the Philippine market depending on local demand and market conditions. Several technologies showcased were previously presented during global exhibitions such as CEATEC in Japan.
Sharp said these concept products demonstrate the company’s continued focus on innovation, premium quality, and evolving consumer lifestyles.

Sharp has operated in the Philippines since 1982 and continues to strengthen its presence in Filipino homes and businesses through reliable and practical technologies.
“Sharp will stay one step ahead of people’s needs and continue solving real-life problems, and by delivering value to our customers and working together with our dealer partners, we will grow together. All of this is not just for today—Sharp will remain “In Step With Your Future.”” Akiyoshi concluded.
