Nothing has introduced a new Blue color option for the Nothing Ear (open) in the Philippines, expanding the lineup of its first open wearable stereo (OWS) earbuds. The Ear (open) Blue is now available locally for PHP 5,990.
The new variant retains the same open-ear design and feature set. According to Nothing, they are adding a fresh color variant inspired by blue tennis courts, workout equipment, retro electronics, and transparent sculptures made by artist De Wain Valentine that matches their wider product ecosystem.
The Nothing Ear (open) Feels Like Nothing
Each earbud weighs just 8.1 grams, while the compact charging case measures only 19mm thick, making the device easy to carry throughout the day.
The earbuds also feature silicone ear hooks and a 50-degree angled design intended to provide a secure fit during activities such as running, cycling, workouts, and even on the daily commute.
Open Sound Technology
Designed for users who want to stay aware of their surroundings while listening to music and enjoy immersive audio without removing the earbuds, the Ear (open) features Nothing’s open-ear form factor and uses Nothing’s Open Sound Technology.
To reduce sound leakage, the earbuds incorporate a Sound Seal System and a directional speaker design. This helps minimize the amount of sound that escapes into the surrounding environment.
Audio Features and Battery Life
Nothing equips the Ear (open) with a custom driver design featuring a titanium-coated diaphragm along with lightweight internal components designed to improve audio clarity and reduce distortion.
The earbuds also include an automatic Bass Enhance algorithm that adjusts low frequencies to deliver stronger bass response when needed.
For battery life, the Ear (open) offers up to 30 hours of total playback when used with the charging case, while a quick 10-minute charge can provide up to 10 hours of listening time, making it suitable for users who frequently listen to sounds throughout the day.
Calls, Connectivity, and Durability
The earbuds also support Clear Voice Technology, which uses AI-powered noise reduction to improve voice clarity during calls.

Users can continue to customize the listening experience through the Nothing X app, which offers EQ presets, community-created sound profiles, and an 8-band equalizer for more detailed audio adjustments.
When paired with compatible Nothing OS devices, the earbuds can also provide access to ChatGPT and enable voice-based interactions directly from the connected device.
