TECNO has opened pre-orders for the CAMON Slim 5G in the Philippines, bringing a 6.39mm-thin smartphone with a 6,000mAh battery and a 50MP Sony LYTIA main camera.
The CAMON Slim 5G is part of TECNO’s latest push around its “Make It Lighter” design direction, focusing on a slimmer body without cutting down on battery capacity.
The phone also comes with a new MagBadge accessory, which TECNO is including for free during the pre-order period.
TECNO CAMON Slim 5G Comes with a Free MagBadge
One of the main additions to the CAMON Slim 5G is the TECNO MagBadge, a magnetic accessory with a 1.73-inch display.
The MagBadge can work with the phone’s rear camera, allowing users to preview the camera and remotely trigger the shutter. It also supports wireless media sync.
This could be useful for taking selfies or group photos using the main camera, especially when a better camera angle is needed.

50MP Sony LYTIA Camera Focuses on Moving Subjects
The CAMON Slim 5G comes with a 50MP Sony LYTIA 700C Ultra-Night Main Camera, with TECNO highlighting its low-light capabilities.
The phone also introduces Super-Zoom FlashSnap, which is designed to capture moving subjects more quickly. It supports up to 2x telephoto snap shooting and uses AI-assisted processing to help freeze moments that can be difficult to capture.
TECNO says the feature is intended for situations such as photographing pets, children, sports, concerts, and other fast-moving moments.
A 6.39mm Body with a 6,000mAh Battery
Despite its slim 6.39mm profile, the CAMON Slim 5G packs a 6,000mAh battery.
The combination is one of the more notable aspects of the phone, as TECNO is focusing on reducing the thickness of the device while keeping a relatively large battery capacity.
The phone is also available in several finishes, including Burgundy Red, Matisse Black, and Rebel Pink.
Burgundy Red uses a fiberglass construction with a matte texture and a combination of red and brown tones. TECNO says the finish is designed to give the phone a different look compared with more conventional smartphone designs.
Gossamer White, which features a 3D butterfly-inspired rear design, will arrive later in October.

Customers who pre-order the CAMON Slim 5G can also receive a special cash discount based on when they claim their device.

Valid pre-orders during the promotional period qualify for an entry, subject to the official campaign mechanics.
Installment Options and Globe 5G Offer
The CAMON Slim 5G will be available through several financing partners, including Home Credit, Skyro, Salmon, PayJoy, BillEase, and Kredivo, as well as participating credit card installment providers.
Depending on the financing partner, customers can get installment plans of up to 24 months and possible discounts or cashback of up to ₱1,000.
TECNO is also partnering with Globe for the launch. Eligible buyers can receive a free Globe Prepaid SIM with one year of unlimited 5G data.
