realme will launch the new realme 8s 5G and 8i on September 9 which features the latest MediaTek Dimensity 810 and Helio G96.
To recap, realme started launching the realme 8 series this March 2021. They first released the realme 8 and 8 Pro that month, then the 8 5G comes in the next month. These phones sold fast in the market because of their great performance at reasonable prices. Then today, they announced that they will add two more phones to their 8 series.
realme 8s 5G will be the world’s first device to feature the latest MediaTek Dimensity 810 6nm chipset. It will also come with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ display that will support a 90Hz screen refresh rate. This device will also feature up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS storage. Besides, its chipset supports up to 2CC Carrier Aggregation and has reliable 5G connectivity.
Moreover, the 8s 5G will also have a 64MP main shooter camera and a 16MP front camera for selfies. Also, the phone will come with a 5,000mAh big battery capacity with 33W fast charging support.
For the realme 8i, it will also feature the latest MediaTek chipset but built for immersive gaming, the Helio G96. This phone will have a bigger 6.59-inch Full HD+ display and a high 120Hz screen refresh rate support. However, this phone will only come with 128GB UFS 2.2 internal storage and smaller 4GB LPDDR4X RAM.
Further, this phone is only a 4G LTE device but it has a fast LTE Cat-13 performance for great internet connectivity. The 8i will also go with a large 5,000mAh battery capacity as well. Besides, this phone will also feature a side fingerprint scanner included in the power button.
For its camera, it will have a 50MP main shooter, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth sensor for the rear setup. Meanwhile, it will also come with a 16MP front camera for great selfies.
Additionally, the most exciting features of both phones are the Dynamic RAM Extension (DRE). This feature will allow the users to expand their phone’s RAM virtually with the use of its internal storage. Lastly, both phones will also run realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 out of the box.
