Xiaomi just announced its new affordable Redmi 9 Activ that mainly highlights efficient multi-tasking.

Redmi 9 Activ features the MediaTek Helio G35 octa-core processor which is last year’s entry-level chipset. This processor has an IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU that can decently provide you a decent graphical performance.
Xiaomi now partnered its processor with up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM. To recall previous Redmi phones that feature Helio G35 only have a maximum of 4GB of RAM. With this large amount of RAM, Xiaomi claimed that it is efficient in multi-tasking. They also paired it with up to 128GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage.
This smartphone boasts a 20:9 aspect ratio 6.53 inches HD+ Dot Drop display that has 400nits max brightness. Since it is a budget device, it lacks a higher refresh rate feature. However, its display supports color temperature adjustment, reading mode, as well as standard mode, and sunlight mode.
You can also do multi-tasking for the whole day because it has a large built-in 5,000mAh battery capacity. It can provide you 164 hours of music playback, 37 hours of VoLTE calls, and 30 hours of video playback. For gaming, Xiaomi claimed that you can use this device for up to 13.5 hours of gaming. They also enhanced its battery lifespan and gives 25% more charging cycles, or an equivalent of over 3.2 years.
For its camera, it has a 5MP front camera that can deliver decent selfies. Also, an AI dual rear camera setup which composed of a 13MP primary camera and 2MP depth sensor. Its camera features phase detection autofocus, HDR, AI Beautify 5.0, AI portrait mode, AI scene detection, and single-tone flash.
Redmi 9 Activ also comes with MIUI 12 based on Android 11 out of the box. While other features of this phone are HyperEngine Game technology, P2i Splash-proof protection, corrosion-proof port, and 380V surge protection.
For its design, it has an anti-slip body that gives you a better grip. It also has a fingerprint scanner placed at the back. Further, the available colors of this phone are Carbon Black, Coral Green, and Metallic Purple.

The new Redmi 9 Activ is now available in India. Hopefully, this phone will arrive here in the Philippines.
