AMD has announced its latest 6nm Ryzen PRO 6000 CPUs for high-end business laptops.

This new Ryzen PRO 6000 series comes with new architecture, features, and new experiences for professional laptop users. With these processors, your productivity will boost, your collaboration will enhance, and help you to deliver your creativity.
It comes with six H-series processors with 35W-45W TDP and two U-series processors with 15W-30W TDP in total. Besides, AMD will still keep three 5000 series U-series CPUs on the market for thin and light performance business laptops.
AMD based this Ryzen Pro 6000 series in its newest Zen 3+ architecture with 6nm and 30% performance boosts. It also arrives with up to 8 cores and up to 16 threads which are efficient for business works. While for its built-in graphics, it features AMD’s RDNA 2 which comes with a big improvement compared to its predecessor.
As per AMD’s testing, the Ryzen 7 Pro 6850U CPU is 1.1x faster than its predecessor at the same 15W TDP. It is also 1.3x faster when rated at 28W TDP. For the RDNA 2, it is 1.5x faster at 15W, while 2.1x faster at 28W. It can also last up to 26 hours of usage when paired with a 76WHr battery and ran with 150nits brightness.
Moreover, this series also features Microsoft Pluton combined with AMD Secure Processor out of the box. This feature will help you to have great protection against various attacks. Also, there is now support for Windows Autopilot, which allows administrators to easily set up new Windows 11 PCs.
AMD’s Ryzen Pro 6000 CPUs will be available in the second quarter of this year. However, there are laptops already announced featuring these new processors. One of them is the HP EliteBook 800 G9 series and Lenovo ThinkPad Z and T series laptops.
