Recently, Apple Inc. releases its very own designed ARM-based system on a chip (Soc) Apple M1. This chip surprises the consumer with its incredible performance that can be considered an innovative masterpiece of the company. The difference from the previous intel counterparts is very far. Even in early benchmarks and head-to-head comparisons still, the M1 performs well against the most powerful Intel Core i9 chip for the laptop. Also, this chip is great for developers because it compiles code faster than intel.

New ARM-based processor
According to a new report from Bloomberg, Apple is engaging in a new ARM-based processor that can outperform Intel’s fastest. The processor will have as many as 32 high-performance CPU cores that could appear in a Mac in 2021 and hopefully be finished in 2022. Besides, they are also working on CPU design with up to 16 high-power cores and 4 power-efficient cores. Moreover, this chip is targeting MacBook Pro and iMac that could arrive next year.
Furthermore, the M1 offers a custom Apple graphics engine that carries either 7 or 8 core variation. And now, Apple is testing a 16-core and 32-core graphics part for its future high-end laptop and midrange desktops.
They are also developing a graphics upgrade with 64 and 128 dedicated cores for its highest-end machines. These graphic chips would be multiple times faster than the graphic modules they currently use from Nvidia and AMD in its Intel-based hardware. However, we also had to wait until late 2021 or 2022 to glimpse these most advanced technologies.
