At the Worldwide Developers Conference, Apple previewed its next-generation software updates across iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS 27, watchOS 27, visionOS 27, and tvOS 27, headlined by a major upgrade to Apple Intelligence and the introduction of Siri AI.
The new Apple Intelligence system is built on a privacy-focused architecture and is now deeply integrated across Appleās ecosystem.

Siri AI brings a more advanced assistant experience, capable of understanding on-screen content, using personal context across apps like Messages, Mail, and Photos, retrieving real-time web information, and performing actions system-wide.
Apple is also introducing a dedicated Siri experience with synced conversation history across devices via iCloud.

Beyond Siri, Apple Intelligence powers new features across core apps, including Spatial Reframing in Photos, enhanced Image Playground generation, and smarter tools in communication and system search.
Apple also claims significant performance gains across the system, with faster app launches, improved photo loading, quicker AirDrop transfers, and more efficient file management on iPad.
On the safety side, Apple is expanding parental controls with redesigned Screen Time tools, child account setup, contact approval features, and improved monitoring of app usage across categories like games, entertainment, and social media.

The updates also bring design refinements such as improved system responsiveness, updated app icons, enhanced search in Spotlight and Mail, and a new Liquid Glass customization option for interface transparency. macOS also receives UI refinements for a more consistent and modern experience.
Other additions include cross-platform iCloud Shared Albums with full-resolution sharing, new Health app features supporting perimenopause and menopause tracking, expanded Apple Watch capabilities including a dynamic app grid and unified Find My app, AirPods upgrades with custom EQ and heart-rate syncing, Apple Vision Pro enhancements like spatial panoramas, and an AI-powered Flyover upgrade in Apple Maps.
Developer beta access is available starting today, with a public beta arriving next month and a full rollout scheduled for fall.
Apple Intelligence and Siri AI will roll out to supported devices, including iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, and Vision Pro, though availability will vary by region, with limited access in the EU and no initial availability in China.
