Good news, gamers! The ROG Ally, a brand-new handheld gaming system from Asus, was just released in the Philippines for PHP 39,995!

To recall, Asus launched the ROG Ally last June 13, and many gamers were delighted since it competes with the Steam Deck. The device runs Windows 11 Home with Asus Armoury Crate Special Edition and is capable of playing the most recent AAA titles at smooth framerates.
ROG Ally also has a custom AMD processor known as the Ryzen Z1 and Z1 Extreme, which are specifically designed for gaming. The AMD Z1 features a 6-core 12-thread Zen 4 CPU configuration with 4 RDNA 4 iGPU. Meanwhile, the AMD Z1 Extreme features an 8-core 16-thread with 24MB cache and 12 RDNA iGPU.
For great performance and spectacular visuals in demanding AAA and independent titles, both models feature the upscaling technologies AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution and AMD Radeon Super Resolution.
The device also comes with 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage. You can also expand its storage with a UHS-II MicroSD card. Even though the game was installed on the microSD card, it will still provide nearly the same load time as the SSD storage.
Additionally, the ROG Ally has a 7-inch IPS LCD screen with FHD resolution, a 16:9 aspect ratio, 120hz refresh rate, 7ms response time, and 500nits max brightness. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus Protection.
For controls, it has a gamepad with A B X Y buttons, D-pad, L & R Hall Effect analog triggers, L & R bumpers, a View button, a Menu button, a Command Center button, an Armoury Crate button, two analog sticks, 6-Axis IMU gyro, and HD haptics.
While for ports, it has one ROG XG Mobile Interface USB-C combo port with USB 3.2 G2 and DP 1.4 compatibility, one 3.5mm combination audio jack, and one card reader.
This device also has a 40WHr battery capacity that supports a 65W Power Delivery. It also features WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 for wireless communication.
