AYANEO just launched a new handheld PC gaming device name AYANEO 2 that could outperform Valve’s Steam Deck.

AYANEO 2 comes with huge upgrades!
To recall, they launched the previous AYANEO last year with Ryzen 5 4500U which runs a Zen 2 architecture. Now, this new AYANEO 2 comes with a lot of upgrades over its predecessor including the AMD Ryzen 7 6800U. This processor is a Rembrandt APU with RDNA 2 graphics and has an octa-core that clocks at 2.7-4.7Ghz frequency. It also has two more cores than previously and now runs Zen 3+ microarchitecture.
In addition, it is also the world’s first windows handheld console that features this AMD 6800U. With that, it could also potentially outperform the Valve’s Steam Deck apart for the previous AYANEO. The Steam Deck only has Aerith APU that comes with four Zen 2 cores with 2.4-3.5Ghz frequency. We can clearly see that the Steam Deck is very behind with the latest AYANEO console.

The processor that it carries also has the AMD’s latest powerful integrated graphics, the Radeon 680M RDNA 2. According to AMD, the Radeon 680M outperforms entry-level discrete Nvidia GPUs like the GTX 1650 Max-Q. This iGPU comes with 12 compute units that clock up to 2.2GHz, 600MHz ahead of the Steam Deck. It also boasts 3.38 TFLOPs as compared to Steam Deck’s 1.6 TFLOPS.
This handheld console also supports LPDDR5-6400 RAM, PCIe 4.0 SSD for storage, and USB 4.0 ports. However, they don’t have announced further details about its specifications such as screen size, type, and resolution. But we can see that it now has a better design and ergonomics.
