The long wait is over because Cherry Mobile just launched its first 5G-ready smartphones, the Aqua S10 Pro 5G and Aqua SV.
“It is about time that we let our market experience this game-changing technology without needing to veer away from their budget. The Cherry Mobile Aqua S10 Pro 5G and Aqua SV are already 20 to 100 times faster than 4G LTE but there’s definitely more to these two than just improved performance and connectivity,” says Lonson Alejandrino, AVP for Product, CHERRY.
Cherry Mobile’s first 5G smartphones!
First is the premium Aqua SV which boasts a 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G octa-core processor. They paired it with a large 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 internal storage. It also has a large 4,200mAh battery capacity that supports 30W fast charging technology. Besides, the company also boasts its liquid cooling technology.
This Aqua SV also features a 6.6-inch FHD+ AMOLED Curved Edge display which is rare in this price range. It also features a 90Hz screen refresh rate and supports an In-display fingerprint scanner.
On the upper-left of the screen, you will find a dual punch-hole that carries a 16MP main selfie-shooter and a 2MP depth sensor. Meanwhile, at the back, it has a 64MP main shooter, 5MP ultra-wide lens, 2MP macro lens, and 2MP depth sensor.
Moreover, they also launched the S10 Pro 5G which carries the 7nm MediaTek Dimensity 700 octa-core processor. This device comes with a smaller 4GB LPDDR4X RAM but still has a larger 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. It also has a larger 5,000mAh battery capacity that only supports up to 18W fast charging and 10W wireless charging.
The Cherry Mobile S10 Pro 5G features a large 6.78-inch FHD+ Trueview punch-hole display. However, this device doesn’t come with a high screen refresh rate. In its punch-hole, it carries a 16MP selfie shooter. It also comes with a quad-camera setup at the back. It consists of a 48MP main shooter, 5MP depth sensor, 2MP macro lens, and another 2MP depth sensor.
Furthermore, both the S10 Pro 5G and Aqua SV run Android 11 out of the box. They also both feature 5G SA/NSA, 4G, Bluetooth 5.1, dual SIM, face unlock, OTG, and gyroscope.
