Two flagship audio processors from Cirrus Logic, the DAC CS43198, are included with the COLORFLY CDA-M2 Hi-Fi USB DAC/Amplifier, a first for the M Series DAC/Amplifiers. Its internal circuitry is built on a six-layer PCB that has been gold-plated, with digital and analog circuits purposefully divided for the best audio processing. A dynamic range of up to 130 dB is also provided by the two separate XR2001 amplifier chips for the 4.4mm and 3.5mm in the M2.
Advanced JitterKill Femtosecond Clock Technology, created specifically for U series players, is one of the cutting-edge audio technologies offered by the CDA-M2, which is based on COLORFLY’s flagship player audio architecture. Structurally rearranging data in ASYNC mode allows audio signal transmission to slip through SRC and USB clock interference, opening up a world of pure, lossless music.
In addition to the redesigned control buttons, the CDA-M2 has an OLED display for convenient navigation. Contrary to this, the CDA-M2’s Flexible Two-Level Gain feature features two gain levels—low and high—that let users adjust the output for use with either headphones or earbuds. The information on the OLED display makes it simple for users to modify their gain.
A custom-made, improved cable is one of the most interesting features of the CDA-M2. A newer USB-C cable with a pure copper silver-plated core and multi-layer insulation is included with the CDA-M2. This cable offers reduced latency. Furthermore, it contains the CDA-M2, which is a high-quality audio decoder for compatible game consoles and has a UAC 1.0 game mode made for the PS5 and Nintendo Switch.
The newly added volume memory function of the CDA-M2 allows volume levels to be saved when connected to any front-end device.
