These new motherboards are their latest additions to the CVN Series motherboards for 12th generation Intel Core processors. The GAMING FROZEN motherboard has a white PCB from front to back and silver CVN cooling armor heatsinks. The CVN B660I motherboards are ideal for small-form-factor PC enthusiasts looking for a powerhouse in a compact device.
Moreover, the mini-ITX motherboard boasts an 8+1 Dr MOS power phase architecture. It also arrives with two DDR4 DIMM slots and can handle up to 64GB dual-channel capacity and DDR4-4600 (OC) frequency.
Dual M.2 Slots
The CVN B660I GAMING FROZEN and CVN B660I GAMING motherboards are both equipped with two M.2 slots. At the front, there is a PCIe Gen4x4 M.2 2280 slot with CVN Cooling Armor, which improves passive cooling for NVMe SSDs. Meanwhile, it has a PCIe Gen3x4 M.2 2280 slot at the back that supports PCIe Gen3 NVMe SSDs for high-speed storage for gaming and work.
Redesigned BIOS UI
The BIOS user interface (UI) for the Z690 and B660 Series has been modified to make navigation easier and more intuitive. You can now also find the Quick overclocking features in a single tab. Advanced overclocking options and modifications are also available for advanced users under the Advanced page. Besides, the BIOS homepage organizes and simplifies monitoring, fan profile, smart fan control, and basic hardware information.
High-Speed Connectivity
The CVN B660I GAMING FROZEN has the most up-to-date connectivity capabilities, such as a 2.5 GbE port and Wi-Fi 6 for fast wired and wireless connections. It also includes a USB 3.1 Gen1 Type-C port on the back I/O, as well as four USB 2.0 ports and two USB 3.2 ports. Aside from that, these motherboards also provide a USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-C header for desktop chassis USB-C ports.
