For those who don’t know, the brand Creative or Creative Labs has been known for making Audio products like MP3 players. We have often seen this brand on speakers before.
In fact, I have been using the Creative CT-A120 computer speakers since 2015. It’s very durable and has a good sound quality, even though it’s 9 years old, but now we have a Creative Stage Air V2 that’s even better and fits our desk setup.

Design and build quality
Let’s talk about its design and build quality first. This Creative Stage Air V2 has a minimal but elegant design as I said earlier. It’s also guaranteed to fit your desk or entertainment setup.
It is also compact, so it still fits even in a small space. To be exact, its dimensions are 410 x 94 x 75 mm. And it’s also super portable because it’s only 1.23kg so you won’t have a problem if you take it anywhere.
The build quality of the Creative Stage Air V2 is also fine, and the plastic used doesn’t look cheap. It’s just that its body is glossy, so if you always carry it or move it around, it might get full of smudges.
Then as for the colorway, the only available color is Black. It would be nice if they would also release another colorway so that it can really match all workspace setups.
Setting up and Connectivity
This Creative Stage Air V2 is also very easy to set up, from unboxing to connecting, it’s very user-friendly and straightforward. Once you’ve unboxed it, you’re just two clicks away from being connected to Bluetooth.
But before we talk about connectivity, it actually has buttons on its right side which consist of a power button, volume buttons, and the Bluetooth button. While behind it we can see its 3.5mm AUX-in port, USB-C port, as well as its LED indicator and Pinhole reset button.
For connectivity, you can use this soundbar via Bluetooth, AUX-in, and direct USB audio when you connect it to your PC and laptop, as well as your gaming consoles like PS5 and PS4.
If USB audio is not supported for you, you can also use his 3.5mm AUX cable. Personally, I use Bluetooth most often because it’s very easy and fast to connect to it, especially if I only use my MacBook or phone because it is Bluetooth 5.3 already, and I want to eliminate cables in my desk too so let’s go wireless.
Sound Quality
Get ready to enter a world of detailed, rich audio because its audio quality is really immersive. For me, its audio profile is balanced, its bass is powerful and punchy but not too deep because it’s just a soundbar. Its Mids and Highs are also clear plus the soundstage is also good so the listening experience here is solid. You will really enjoy using it to listen to music, watch movies, and use it for gaming.

By the way, its power output is 2 x 5W and the peak power output is up to 20W, so it is also powerful especially if you only use it inside your house. I have also used it in the open area and its power is decent, but it is still okay if you use it indoors so that the bounce of the sound is good.
Even though the volume is all the way up, there is no audio distortion, but my advice is don’t turn up the volume to prevent audio distortion in the long run. Maybe only turn up the volume to 80% so that the speakers are not stressed.
Battery
Next is its battery. Well, it has a large 2,200mAh battery capacity that can offer up to 6 hours of playback on a single charge, but that still depends on your usage. Then as for the charging time, it will take more than an hour to charge because it only supports 10w charging.
