FromSoftware, the developer of the popular action role-playing game Elden Ring, has recently released a significant update for the game, marked as patch 1.09.
This update follows the announcement that an expansion for the game is currently in the works. The patch includes a range of changes and improvements, including balance changes to PvP and general gameplay adjustments. One notable addition included in this update is the implementation of ray tracing on PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. This technology allows for enhanced lighting and shadows within the game, providing a more immersive and realistic visual experience for players.
As a result of the addition of ray tracing, FromSoftware has updated the PC requirements for the game to reflect the necessary graphics processing units (GPUs) needed to activate this feature. Players will need to ensure they have a compatible GPU to enjoy the game with the added ray tracing capabilities. Overall, this update is sure to enhance the gameplay experience for Elden Ring players, providing a more visually stunning and engaging world to explore.
