The new Gionee G13 Pro is a budget smartphone that equips a 12nm Unisoc T310 quad-core chipset. This chipset has a similar performance with the MediaTek Helio P60, and it is also on par with the Helio G80. It also has a PowerVR GT7200 GPU that can give a decent graphics performance and can run light games. Besides, they also put a standard 4GB RAM as well as 32GB or 128GB internal storage.
Moreover, it also comes with Huawei’s HarmonyOS with the full Huawei Mobile Services ecosystem. It also has a built-in 3,500mAh battery, but they did not mention how many watts the included charger.
For the external, it does have a flat side frame and a diagonally placed dual-camera like an iPhone 13. This dual-camera setup is a 13MP main shooter and 2MP macro lens. Meanwhile, this phone also has an iPhone-like notch in its 6.26-inch screen with HD+ resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio. In addition, it carries a 5MP selfie camera.
According to the product description, the Gionee G13 Pro should be primarily marketed as a smartphone for the elderly. This is for them for quickly accessing payment codes, health codes, and practical capabilities such as big font mode. The Gionee G13 Pro also comes in four colorways: Blue, Purple, Gold, and Black.
Price and availability
The price of the 4GB/32GB variant of the Gionee G13 Pro is CNY 529 (around PHP 4.2K). Meanwhile, the price of its 4GB/128GB variant is CNY 699 (around PHP 5.6K). It is now available in China via JD.com, but there’s no yet information about its local pricing and availability.
