The highly anticipated Globe eSIM is finally here! But it is only currently available for tourists.
Recently, Globe announced that they would be releasing its prepaid eSIM by the end of September, but they failed to meet the said date. Yesterday, one of our Facebook group members noticed the availability of Globe’s eSIM for PH visitors or Globe Traveler eSIM.
The Globe Traveler eSIM costs PHP 750 and comes with 20GB mobile data, unlimited local calls, and unlimited local texts valid for 15 days.
So if you are only a visitor or tourist in the Philippines, you may avail of this Globe Traveler eSIM on the GlobeOne app. For payment methods, you may use credit or debit cards specifically Visa credit cards, Mastercard, and JCB credit cards. Since SIM registration is now required in the Philippines, you must have your passport ready.
Before availing of the eSIM make sure that your device supports eSIM. If yes, also make sure that you still have an available eSIM slot.
