    Google Meet’s Free Plan Will Soon Restrict Users to a 60-minute Session

      As time passes by, technologies are providing more convenience to us people. A virtual meeting is introduced.  Nowadays, millions of peoples especially amid this pandemic many schools is using this as their alternative mode of teaching. This technology, also used by companies and other organizations in their conference or meeting.

    In the second quarter of this year, one of the big companies, Google, announces that all their users can enjoy using premium features of their Google Meet until September 30, 2020. After this date, all Google Meet free plan users will be restricted to a maximum of 60 minutes sessions.

    The Verge received an email from Google that there is no change of plan yet. “We don’t have anything to communicate regarding changes to the promo and advanced features expiring,” a Google spokesperson told The Verge. Added, “If this changes, we’ll be sure to let you know.”

    G Suite

    Also, the access to premium features for G Suite and G Suite for Education customer with the feature of an allowed meeting of up to 250 participants, live-streams of up to 100,000 people within a single domain, and the attribute to save meeting recordings to Google Drive will be removed after the said date. These features are typically offered through the G Suite ”Enterprise” which costs 25 US Dollars per user per month.
