Huawei is well-known for its smartphones, laptops, wearables, routers, and more, and now they unveiled its first electric scooter. They named it Huawei LEQI Smart Electric Scooter that runs HarmonyOS.
Huawei LEQI Smart Electric Scooter is now official!
It has a 350W brushless motor rated for a maximum of up to 630W and a climbing gradient of 15%. For its power, they put a 10.4Ah battery that can provide you up to 40km distance per full charge. According to Huawei, it also has a unique energy recovery technology. This technology allows the scooter to recover energy while the rider uses the brakes or navigates a hill. Also, this electric scooter has an IPX7 waterproof and dustproof rating, which means you can use it while raining.
The LEQI Smart Electric Scooter also includes the first built-in gyroscope. That will help in the detection of altitude-related issues such as accidental tipping or false starts.
Furthermore, it also features a Bluetooth module and compatibility for HarmonyOS Connect. The electric scooter has to be within 0.5m of a smartphone or other connected device to perform a one-key unlock function. Then, it will automatically unlock and activate the “Welcome” lighting effect.
The new Huawei LEQI Smart Electric Scooter comes with excellent features and a sophisticated design. They used an automotive-grade integrated die-casting aluminum technology for their body. It also features a 9-inch Chaoyang automotive-grade high-elasticity vacuum explosion-proof tires that decrease turbulence, shock resistance, and shock absorption. Additionally, Huawei says that the frame can sustain a maximum weight of 2 tons.
Moreover, the available colorway of this electric scooter that you can choose is Matte Black or White. Besides, it is also foldable so you can easily store it in your home or even in the trunk of your car.
Huawei also mentioned that it has three automotive-grade smart lighting effects systems. These are the 2.5W high-brightness headlamps, smart turn signals, as well as auto night lights. It also has LED strips along the side of its footboard.
