Huawei‘s first smartphone that features a 108MP camera is officially launched in Malaysia, the Huawei nova 9 SE.
The new Huawei nova 9 SE is a new mid-range smartphone in the nova series. It is officially launched today, although Huawei already listed it on their official website this past three days.
This latest smartphone mainly highlights a 108MP main camera that also has High-Res mode. Along with it are the 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, 2MP macro lens, and 2MP depth sensor. On the front, it also has a 16MP selfie camera.Â
Moreover, the nova 9 SE also boasts its Super Night Shot feature which captures multiple exposures in one image to have vivid photos. Like recent smartphones, it also features Dual-view video which allows you to record using the front and rear cameras simultaneously.
It also has a large 6.78-inch IPS LCD screen with FHD+ resolution, 387PPI, and supports 16.7 million colors. The nova 9 SE also features up to 90Hz screen refresh rate and 270Hz touch sampling rate. Huawei also boasts that it has 1.05mm ultra-narrow bezels, which are good for viewing.
However, it does not come with 5G connectivity since it only features the 6nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 4G octa-core processor. This chipset utilizes Kyro 265 CPU cores as well as the Adreno 610 GPU. It emphasizes outstanding performance while conserving energy.
The nova 9 SE only has one variant of 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. It also has a large 4,000mAh battery that supports 66W Huawei SuperCharge. Out of the box, you will experience EMUI 12 based on Android 11.
Furthermore, it also features NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, 4G LTE, Dual SIM, USB Type-C, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The device also arrives with Crystal Blue, Pearl White, and Midnight Black colorways.
The new Huawei nova 9 SE is now available in Malaysia for only RM 1,099 (around PHP 13.7K). In addition, Huawei Philippines is set to launch this smartphone this coming March 16, 2022, at 6:00 PM, so stay tuned!
