After the release of the ZERO X Pro, Infinix also made the INBook X1 available for pre-order here in the Philippines.
In July, Infinix announced the INBook X1 as their very first laptop. The laptop features an Intel Core i3-1005G1 dual-core processor with four threads and a base clock of 1.2GHz and 3.4GHz max frequency. This processor is a 10nm node launched in 2019 and has Intel UHD Graphics. They paired it with 8GB LPDDR4X 3200Mhz RAM and a 256GB M.2 SSD for faster storage.
This laptop also has a 14-inch FHD+ IPS display with a 16:9 aspect ratio and up to 300 nits of max brightness. If you need to utilize the laptop for presentations, the screen sits on a flexible hinge that lets it lay flat at a 180-degree angle. It also supports 100% sRGB Color Gamut which is good news for artists out there. However, its screen only has a 60Hz native refresh rate and doesn’t support a high refresh rate.
Another good thing about this laptop is its full-size backlit chiclet keyboard. A lot of laptops in the market with this price range lack the backlit feature, great move for Infinix. Besides, it also has a multi-touch touchpad.
It also has a 720p webcam and two microphones on each side for enhanced voice pickup during video conferencing. For better privacy, its webcam has a physical shut-down slider that you can turned-off when the camera is not in use.
Furthermore, the INBook X1 has a 55Wh battery with efficient power management and 65W fast charging. Infinix claimed that it can deliver up to 13 hours of web browsing. Also, with the help of a 65W charger, it will have 70% battery life within an hour of charging.
In addition, it also has a four-layer stereo architecture for absolutely outstanding surround sound quality. These speakers support DTS audio which means that we can expect a truly immersive sound quality in media consumption.
For connectivity, it has Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth 5.2. While for ports, it comprises 1x USB 2.0, 2x USB 3.0, 1 Type-C, 1 HDMI 1.4, SD card slot, and earphone jack. And this laptop will run on Windows 10 Home Operating System out of the box.
