If you have PHP 10K and you’re looking for a new smartphone, maybe this Infinix NOTE 30 5G is what you’re looking for. Based on my experience with this phone, it is good for casual use and gaming.

    Infinix NOTE 30 5G Accessories

    Unboxing Experience

Its box has a Mobile Legends design cover that has the model and highlights of the phone written on it. When we remove the cover, we can see the premium-looking green box with dark blue accents.

The contents of its box are of course our NOTE 30 5G, warranty card, SIM injector pin, the 45W charging brick, USB-A to USB-C cable, and of course the free case with the Mobile Legends logo. It also comes with tempered glass so you don’t need to buy one.

    Infinix NOTE 30 5G Display

    Display

This Infinix NOTE 30 5Gg has a large 6.78-inch FHD+ IPS display that supports a 120Hz screen refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. It’s also nice to play games and watch videos here because the quality of the screen is good, and the colors it produces are good and sharp. Its screen is also very bright. You can view the screen clearly even outdoors.

Its 120Hz refresh rate is not that stable because it also has frame drops sometimes. But at this price, only a few have a 120Hz refresh rate feature. Besides, at the moment, there are only a few games that are really optimized for 120Hz, so I hope the games will support it since that’s the future of mobile gaming.

    Design

Its design is also very premium, you wouldn’t think that the price is only under PHP 10K. Its available colorways are Magic Black, Sunset Gold, and Interstellar Blue. It is also nice to hold this phone because its body is quite narrow and long.

Infinix NOTE 30 5G Left and right

As for its I/O, we can see its Dedicated SIM slot on the left side, while on the right side is the volume rockers and power button that also acts as a fingerprint scanner. At the bottom, we can see the 3.5mm audio jack, microphone, USB Type-C port, and stereo speaker. And since it has a dual speaker, the secondary speaker is at the top, and next to it is written: “Sound by JBL”. Yes, that’s why the speaker quality is also good.

Infinix NOTE 30 5G Top and bottom

The back of this phone is a matte finish so it is not a smudge magnet but its frame is glossy. Its camera island is really quite big, but that’s the trend right now.

    Infinix NOTE 30 5G camera

    Camera

Speaking of the camera, this phone boasts its 108MP trip camera setup, although the other two lenses along with the 108MP main camera are only a 2MP depth sensor and an AI lens. But in the front, there is also a 16MP selfie shooter that is decent for pricing like this.

So far, the quality of the photos I got with this phone is good. It is decent anyway, although if you’re really from a more premium phone compared to this one, don’t expect too much. In low-light scenarios, it’s really better if you use the Super Night Mode, because it will enhance a lot and your photos will be sharper.

Moreover, it can shoot up to 2K@30fps both on the front and rear cameras, if you want it to be smoother, it can also shoot 1080p@60fps. For those who love to take videos out there, you will really like it because it also has an ultra-steady feature or stabilization. It also has many camera modes that are very useful like Film, Documents, Dual Video, Pro mode, and others.

    Performance

The chipset used by Infinix in this phone is 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6080 or also known as Dimensity 810. It is accompanied by standard 8GB RAM and it also has up to 256GB internal storage. Like other new phones today, it also has a RAM Expansion feature that can extend the RAM up to 8GB Virtual RAM so you have a total of 16GB RAM. It also runs XOS 13 based on Android 13 out of the box, and there’s an update when I unbox it.

    Infinix NOTE 30 5G Gaming

It also got a 400K score on AnTuTu benchmark which is high for an under 10K smartphone. Although from the reviews I’ve watched, it seems that the score they got is only around 375K, maybe theirs is the 8GB/128GB variant and the +8GB Extended RAM is not enabled. The one we have is 8GB/256GB.

As for gaming, I’ve tried CODM and ML here, their performance is also fine. In CODM it only supports Medium graphics and High frame rate. But in ML, it can handle Ultra graphics and ultra frame rate. But if you want to reduce the frame drops, just set it to high graphics. If you also want to enjoy 120Hz in the game, you can also play League of Legends Wild Rift because it supports 120Hz and the frame drops are minimal.

    Infinix NOTE 30 5G Charging

    Battery

One of its features that fans liked is its Bypass charging feature that we can only see in high-end smartphones. Speaking of charging, it also supports 45W fast charging, which is fast to fully charge its 5,000mAh battery capacity.

For charging, it took about an hour to fully charge this phone. Its 45W charger is decently fast. It turns out that its battery lasts more than a day for me. If the juice runs out while I’m playing, I can charge it because it supports Bypass charging, so it’s safe if you want to play while it’s charging.
