Microsoft just launched its newest affordable Surface Laptop Go 2 in the US which is best for students.

To recall, Microsoft first introduced the Surface Laptop Go way back in 2020, the most affordable in the Surface Laptop series. The first Go model becomes a great budget laptop for students at that time. Of course, this new Surface Laptop Go 2 is also a great buy since it still has affordable pricing.
The new laptop arrives with a 3:2 aspect ratio 12.4-inch PixelSense touch display with 1536 x 1024 resolution. Its display has up to 330nits max brightness and 10-point multi-touch support. This device also features the 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1135G7 quad-core processor with Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics.
For memory and storage, it comes in three configurations 4GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB, and 8GB/256GB. It will also arrive with Windows 11 Operating System but does not come with a free Microsoft Office license. However, you can avail the discount for Microsoft 365 subscription when buying this laptop.
Microsoft also boasts its improved HD camera and dual Studio Mics for better video and sound quality for your meetings. For typing, it has a 30% more key travel compared to MacBook Air and has a large precision trackpad. Besides, its two higher configurations will come with a fingerprint scanner while the base version not.
Customers are also now able to extend the use of the device because of its replaceable components. This includes the removable SSD (storage), C-Cover (Keyset and Trackpad), AB Cover (Display) and battery, and Surflink cable.
The Surface Laptop Go 2’s base is a polycarbonate composite resin system with glass fiber and 30% post-consumer recycled material. It also has a weight of only 2.48 pounds which is good for traveling. Other features of it are WiFi 6 with dual-band, Bluetooth 5.1, 41WHr battery with 39W charger, and Windows Hello support.
