This year, a study found out that the Philippines has one of the most expensive internet services in the globe but constantly ranks into the slowest internet speed offered either in mobile or broadband. According to Speedtest Global Index, it shows that the Philippines ranked 110th for mobile internet with an average speed of 18.49mbps. While in fixed broadband, we ranked 103rd with a speed of 28.69mbps. Therefore, it is evident that we are losing the competition of internet speed.
