Nubia Red Magic 8 Pro
Red Magic 8 Pro comes in two variants, Matte and Void. The matte variant has a matte black rear panel. While the Void variant is like Nothing Phone 1 which has a transparent back panel with an RGB cooling fan and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 logo within. As you can see from their photos, both come with cool gamer-like designs.
Its display is a boxy design large 6.8-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, 960Hz touch sampling rate, 1300 nits max brightness, and Gorilla Glass Protection. There are also two touch-based shoulder triggers that operate at a 520Hz sampling rate.
Another special feature of its display is the 16MP 2nd-gen under-display selfie camera that allows you to have a notch-free viewing experience. At the back, there’s also the 50MP Samsung GN5 main shooter, 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro lens.
The Red Magic 8 Pro is also powered by a 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 octa-core processor with Adreno 740. Along with it is up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.0 fast internal storage.
Besides, its chipset is cooled using the ICE 11 composite graphene and vapor cooling system, which combines new materials for improved heat transfer and a redesigned 20,000 RPM fan to boost airflow and minimize noise.
Moreover, this device also has a large 6,000mAh battery capacity that supports 65W fast charging. Its charger is expected to charge the phone 0-100% in 43 minutes.
Other features include 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, GPS, triple mic, RGB lights, dual stereo speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and heart rate detection. On the software front, the RedMagic 8 Pro will arrive with Redmagic OS 6.0 based on Android 13 out of the box.

The newest Nubia Red Magic 8 Pro will be released this coming February 2, 2023. However, there’s no information yet on when it will be arriving in the Philippine market so stay updated.
