The OPPO A6 Pro is the latest addition to OPPO’s A Series lineup, bringing a balance of display, durability, and solid everyday performance. Priced below PHP 20K, it targets users who need a dependable phone for school, work, and entertainment without spending too much.
OPPO A6 Pro Review Philippines: Is it worth buying?
The OPPO A6 Pro is available in both 4G and 5G variants. Our review unit is the 4G variant, so performance and overall impressions may vary compared to the 5G variant.
I already shared my first impressions of the OPPO A6 Pro when it was first announced. After using the device for almost a month, here’s our OPPO A6 Pro review covering its display, performance, camera, and battery life.

Display and Multimedia Experience
One of the biggest upgrades in the OPPO A6 Pro is its display. It now features an FHD+ AMOLED screen that offers vibrant colors and excellent brightness. It honestly feels like using a phone from OPPO’s Reno lineup because of the display quality.
The screen size is now slightly smaller at 6.57 inches compared to 6.67 inches on its predecessor, which might be better if you prefer a more compact device.

Watching videos on the A6 Pro is enjoyable thanks to its stereo speakers that deliver clear and balanced audio. Scrolling and animations feel smooth as well with its 120Hz refresh rate.
Outdoor visibility isn’t an issue either since the display reaches up to 1,400 nits of peak brightness, making it easy to view even under direct sunlight.

Performance and Gaming on the OPPO A6 Pro
Despite being powered by a 6nm MediaTek Helio G100 chipset, the A6 Pro delivers a surprisingly smooth performance. Whether for casual usage or light gaming, the phone handles most tasks efficiently due to good software optimization.
It runs on ColorOS 15 based on Android 15 right out of the box, and OPPO has confirmed it will be upgradable to ColorOS 16. The interface feels stable and feature-packed, offering a user-friendly experience overall.
When it comes to gaming, the OPPO A6 Pro can handle titles like Mobile Legends and Call of Duty: Mobile easily. Even Genshin Impact is playable when you lower the graphics settings.
The SuperCool vapor chamber cooling system helps maintain comfortable temperatures during long sessions, though you’ll still feel some warmth when gaming continuously.
In benchmarks, the device scored 568,666 on AnTuTu Benchmark and 10,405 on PCMark Benchmark, which are respectable results for its segment and even outperform some phones within the same price range.

OPPO A6 Pro Camera Performance
The OPPO A6 Pro sports a 50MP main camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 16MP selfie shooter. The main camera produces detailed and color-accurate images, great for everyday photography and social media uploads.
In good lighting conditions, photos come out sharp with balanced colors. In low light, image quality slightly drops in sharpness, but using Night Mode can significantly improve results as long as you keep your hands steady.
For video recording, the A6 Pro supports up to 1080p@60fps, which is an upgrade from the previous model’s 1080p@30fps limit. There’s no optical or electronic image stabilization though, so steady hands are a must when shooting videos.

Battery and Charging
One of the biggest highlights of the OPPO A6 Pro is its massive 7,000mAh battery. Despite the large capacity, the phone remains surprisingly lightweight. It also supports 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging, allowing it to fully recharge in a short time.
In real-world use, the battery easily lasts up to two full days of moderate usage, which is impressive. While the PCMark battery test didn’t complete, the phone’s system estimated around 15 hours and 52 minutes of screen-on time, a strong indicator of excellent endurance.
