OPPO just launched its latest affordable mid-range smartphone in the A-Series, the new OPPO A76 with Snapdragon 680 chipset!
OPPO A76 is now official!
This new budget smartphone from OPPO offers a sophisticated design that looks very premium. It has a glossy curved back and the available colorway is Glowing Black and Glowing Blue. Besides, the dimension of this phone is about 164.4 x 75.7 x 8.4mm, while it approximately weighs about 189g.
The OPPO A76 features a big 6.56-inch HD+ display with an 89.9% screen ratio, 96% DCI-P3 color gamut, and 269PPI pixel density. It also supports a 90Hz screen refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, and up to 600nits max brightness.
On the top-left of its screen is a punch-hole that carries the 8MP selfie camera. While at the back, you will find the 13MP main camera shooter and the 2MP depth sensor. Its camera features portrait bokeh, AI natural retouching, backlit HDR portrait, and night mode.
Moreover, it will also arrive with Qualcomm’s 6nm Snapdragon 680 octa-core processor. This chipset only supports 4G LTE connectivity, but will surely have a 5G-ready variant in the future. In addition, they paired its processor with 6GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 for internal storage. OPPO mentioned that it also supports dynamic RAM extension of up to 5GB Virtual RAM. However, it only has a dual SIM card slot and no microSD card slot available for storage expansion.
This phone also comes with ColorOS 11.1 based on Android 11 out of the box. It also boasts its 5,000mAh battery capacity with 33W SuperVOOC fast charging support via USB-C. According to OPPO, it can reach 55% battery life with just 30 minutes charge. They also claimed that 5 minutes charge can provide you with 2 hours of video streaming.
Price and availability
The new OPPO A76 is now available in Malaysia for only MYR 900 (or around PHP 11K). But there are no details yet about its global availability. We will update you once it became available here in the Philippines, so stay updated!
