realme finally released the realme 8i in the Philippines and got sold out in just 35 minutes on its first sale on Lazada.
realme 8i is now available in the Philippines!
To recall, realme already announced the 8i last September and it took 2 months before it arrives in the Philippines. The realme 8i also is the cheapest among the realme 8 lineup but has incredible specifications.
This phone mainly highlights its ultra-large 6.6-inch FHD+ screen that features a 120Hz ultra-smooth display and 180Hz touch sampling rate. According to realme, it has a 6-level refresh rate: 30Hz, 48Hz, 50Hz, 60Hz, 90Hz, and 120Hz. It also has 401 PPI, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, and up to 600nits max brightness.
realme 8i also boasts the latest MediaTek Helio G96 octa-core chipset that uses a 12-nanometer process technology. This chipset features two Cortex-A76 cores running at 2050 MHz and six Cortex-A55 cores running at 2000 MHz. It also has Mali G57 MC2 GPU that is good for gaming. The company also mentioned that it comes with a 65% performance increase compared to its predecessor.
Moreover, it also has two configurations: a 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage and a 6GB RAM with 128GB internal storage. It also features Dynamic RAM Expansion technology that can add up to 3GB Virtual RAM. Besides, it also has a microSD card slot for more storage if the internal storage is not enough for you.
The new realme smartphone also comes with a trendy 50MP camera setup. This AI triple camera setup consists of a 50MP main shooter, 2MP macro lens, and 2MP mono lens. It also comes with a 16MP In-display selfie camera. In addition, this phone supports a dual-view video feature. That feature allows you to record a video with front and rear cameras simultaneously.
Furthermore, this phone also carries a large 5,000mAh battery capacity that supports 18W fast charging technology. realme claimed that this battery capacity will let you game for 8 hours. It also has Super Power Saving Mode that drastically extends the battery life for many hours.
This phone will also come with realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 out of the box. While the available colorways of this phone are Space Black and Space Purple.

The realme 8i is now available on sale in the Philippines exclusively in Lazada. It also has PHP 1,000 discount as an early bird offer from November 17-21. But as of writing, it is out of stock since it got sold out. Hopefully, realme will restock before the early bird offer period ends.
