realme announces its latest 5G-ready smartphones in India, the realme Narzo 50 5G and Narzo 50 Pro 5G.
Narzo 50 5G
Let’s see first what the Narzo 50 5G brings. This device comes with the 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 810 octa-core 5G chipset. Alongside it are up to 6GB RAM and up to 128GB internal storage. You can also expand its RAM up to 11GB because it supports up to 5GB of Dynamic RAM expansion. It also comes with a large 5,000mAh battery capacity that supports 33W Dart Charge via USB Type-C port.
The realme Narzo 50 5G also equips a large 6.6-inch display with FHD+ resolution. This display panel supports a 90Hz screen refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, and 600nits max brightness. Besides, it also boasts a 48MP main shooter and mono lens for the rear setup, while an 8MP camera for the selfies.
Narzo 50 Pro 5G
Next is the realme Narzo 50 Pro 5G which features the 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 920 octa-core chipset. This phone comes with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB UFS2.2 internal storage. It also supports up to 13GB of Dynamic RAM for very smooth switching of apps when multitasking. realme mentioned that this phone also has a vapor chamber cooling system.
For its screen, the Narzo 50 Pro 5G boasts a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It also features a 90Hz screen refresh rate and up to a 360Hz touch sampling rate. On its punch-hole, it houses a 16MP selfie camera.
While at the back, there are the 48MP main camera, 8MP super-wide lens, and the 4cm macro lens. Its camera supports ultra-steady video, portrait mode, street mode, timelapse, bokeh effect control, night video, AI scene recognition, and more.
Moreover, this device also comes with a large 5,000mAh battery and also supports 33W Dart Charge. realme claimed that you can charge it up 0-50% in just 31 minutes of charging time.
According to realme, these new smartphones run realme UI 30 based on Android 12 out of the box. For connectivity, they support 5G+5G Dual Mode, SA/NSA, 4G LTE, 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi, and Bluetooth 5.3.
Price and availability
The realme Narzo 50 5G will be available in India on May 24, 2022. Its price starts at INR 15,999 (PHP 10.8K). While the Narzo 50 Pro 5G will be available there on May 26, 2022. Its price starts at INR 21,999 (around PHP 14.9K). However, there is no announcement yet about its pricing and availability in the Philippines.
