Embrace a quality champion experience with the realme C65 as it is now available in the market.Â
At first glance, its luxurious design may lead you to assume it’s a high-end device. The question is: does its performance matches its aesthetics? You’re going to find that out with our comprehensive review of the realme C65.

PerformanceÂ
In terms of performance, the power it offers to run most of my applications is fairly acceptable. However, given its price, realme should consider using a more advanced chipset since the 12nm MediaTek Helio G85 it comes with is already four years old.

It’s really good that the realme UI 5.0 is also optimized here so it’s smooth when you’re using it, especially with light apps like social media and productivity apps.Â
You might find its gaming performance somewhat lacking, as I noticed occasional frame drops in most of the games I played. Even in a light game like Mobile Legends, you may experience lag, especially in a clash. Regarding thermals, the phone becomes slightly warm during gaming but stays cool with casual use.

If you’re a gaming enthusiast, the realme C65 might not be the best choice. However, for casual users, its performance is already decent. Additionally, its multitasking capabilities are impressive since it has 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and supports up to 8GB of Extended RAM. You can also store many apps or files here since it has a large 256GB storage.
It’s worth mentioning that the device has a 48-month Fluency Rating, meaning it should maintain its performance level for up to four years. Nonetheless, this doesn’t mean you won’t encounter any lags.
realme offers strong support for this device, providing security updates for up to three years and two major updates to help maintain peak performance.Â

DisplayÂ
Regarding the display, I consider it a drawback due to its low resolution. Specifically, it features a 6.7-inch IPS LCD with only HD+ resolution, whereas most phones in this price range offer FHD+ resolution.Â
Despite the low resolution, what stands out about the display is its features, such as the Rainwater Smart Touch like we first saw from the realme 12 Series. This is highly beneficial for me since my hands often get sweaty.Â
For media consumption, you’ll enjoy watching content as the display’s colors are vivid, providing a premium experience. Besides, I appreciate the Lowest Allowed Brightness feature, which is perfect for me since I often increase brightness in the dark to see more clearly. According to realme, the display can go as low as 1nit of brightness.Â

CameraÂ
The photography experience with this device is acceptable, as the 50MP AI camera produces decent image quality. Its processing improves detail, colors, and sharpness, though occasionally, it may go overboard, leading to a somewhat awkward output.Â
It also performs impressively in low-light scenarios, but stability is key for capturing clear shots. Meanwhile, the 8MP selfie camera offers decent quality in both portrait and normal mode.
But for video, the maximum resolution it supports is only up to 1080p@30fps. It also doesn’t have any stabilization so expect the videos you get to be shaky. However, the video quality is generally acceptable, with no major complaints.
The camera modes available here are Night Mode, Street, Video, Photo, Portrait, Hi-Res, Pro, Panorama, Movie, Slo-Mo, Time-lapse, Text Scanner, and Tilt-Shift.

BatteryÂ
It’s also funny that its battery is stretched so it lasts me a whole day of use. I think it’s also battery efficient because the resolution of its display is only HD+. When it is higher, it consumes more power to display more pixels. That’s all, you need to choose battery life or display quality.Â

The battery life is quite remarkable, lasting me a full day without any issues. This efficiency is likely due to the HD+ resolution display, which consumes less power compared to higher-resolution screens. Ultimately, it boils down to choosing between battery longevity and display quality.Â
I tried to play 3 games in Mobile Legends which totaled 55 minutes, and 11% was reduced from 100% battery life. But it’s also good when it comes to battery life, and you can charge it quickly because it supports 45W SUPERVOOC charging.
Upon testing, it only takes 1 hour and 2 minutes to charge it from 20%-100%. For its pricing, it’s good that it supports 45W fast charging because at least you don’t have to wait for hours just to fully charge it.Â

VerdictÂ
The question is, is this realme C65 worth it? Targeted towards specific users, this new realme device isn’t intended for gaming use. Yet, for individuals seeking robust accessibility features, especially to enhance productivity in work or study, it proves to be an excellent choice.Â
But don’t get me wrong because you can still play light games here like Mobile Legends and Call of Duty Mobile but I suggest lowering the graphics settings to have a smoother gameplay. Moreover, the realme C65 is designed for long-term use, making it a great device for students, professionals, and delivery riders.
