Xiaomi launches the new Redmi 12C!
The new Redmi 12C offers high performance, long battery life, and ultra-clear cameras. This phone boasts a 50MP main shooter along with a 2MP depth sensor. Meanwhile, it only has a 5MP selfie camera which is still decent nowadays.
Moreover, it also comes with a large 6.71-inch waterdrop notch display with HD+ resolution. Unfortunately, its screen doesn’t support a high refresh rate and high touch sampling rate.
As for its performance, all your apps and games will run on its 12nm MediaTek Helio G85 processor that is paired with up to 6GB LPDDR4X RAM. This device also features up to 128GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 512GB via a microSD card slot.
Besides, Redmi 12C also boasts a long-lasting 5,000mAh battery capacity that can provide 12.18 days daily standby, 5.89 days of playing music, 20 hours of video playback, 20 hours of navigation, 34 hours of calls, and 28 hours of reading. However, Xiaomi did not mention its supported wattage. Surprisingly, this phone can only be charged via a micro-USB port.
Furthermore, this phone also levels up your multimedia experience since its speaker is equipped with a large sound chamber that makes the sound louder and clearer.
For the software, Xiaomi mentioned that this device runs MIUI 13 with exclusive optimization that speeds up and makes the experience smoother. This is also claimed to reduce overall memory usage by about 38.9% which is interesting. Anyhow, the company did not reveal its Android version.
The Redmi 12C also has an elegant design having a non-slip texture and diagonal stripes. It comes with Shadow Black, Dark Blue, Mint Green, and Lavender colorways.
Other features of this phone are a back fingerprint scanner, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and more.
