After months of teasers, delayed launch rumors, and a bunch of leaks, Samsung finally launched the Galaxy S21 Fan Edition 5G.
Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G arrives!
The Galaxy S21 FE 5G will come with Snapdragon 888 chipset, while other regions will get the Exynos 2100 variant. Both of these chipsets give almost similar performance and both feature 5G connectivity. Samsung also packed this smartphone with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage.
It also comes with a large 4,500mAh battery capacity that supported 25W SuperFast charging and 15W wireless charging. Just take note that it doesn’t come with any travel adapter or charger, it only includes one data cable.
This device also features a 6.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with 1080p FHD+ resolution. Just like its predecessors, it also has a 120Hz display refresh rate feature that delivers a super smooth scrolling experience. It also has a 240Hz touch sampling rate in Game mode and an eye comfort shield with AI-based blue light control.
In terms of camera, the Galaxy S21 FE 5G focuses on selfie shooter. Its predecessor only houses a 10MP front camera, while this new device has a larger 32MP module. However, its main camera is only 8MP, lower than compared to the 64MP of its brothers. The remaining two camera modules are a 12MP wide lens and a 12MP ultra-wide lens.
Moreover, it has a 30X Space Zoom feature that combines a 3x hybrid optic zoom and 30x digital zoom for high-resolution close-ups. It also has Engage Zoom Lock which reduces shakiness when you zoom in.
About its exterior, it comes with a similar design to S21 and S21+. The unique to its design is the color of its camera island that matches its back. Speaking of colors, this phone will be available in four colorways: Graphite, White, Lavander, and the newly added Olive.
The S21 FE 5G already runs One UI 4 based on Android 12 out of the box. It also has an optical fingerprint and Knox vault for security, while Samsung Pay with NFC for payments.
