The wait is over as Samsung finally unveiled its latest Galaxy S23 series flagship smartphones consisting of Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra. What’s new?
Samsung didn’t use Exynos in this series. Instead, this new Samsung Galaxy S23 series is powered by the latest 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 octa-core processor. These three phones also arrive with the newly launched One UI 5.1 based on Android 13. Check out their other features:
Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra
Let’s start with the most expensive variant in the lineup, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. This variant mainly boasts its amazing camera system that consists of a 200MP OIS Samsung ISOCEL HP2 main shooter with OIS, 12MP ultra-wide lens, 10MP OIS telephoto lens, and 10MP 10x periscope lens. At the front, it has a 12MP selfie shooter that supports autofocus.
The Galaxy S23 Ultra also comes with a large 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with QHD+ resolution. Its high-quality display supports a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and HDR10+. It also has Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection on its screen and in the back.
Moreover, this variant comes with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage. It can also give you a whole day of usage since it has a large 5,000mAh battery capacity that supports 45W fast wired charging and 10W wireless charging.
Samsung Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+
The lower Samsung Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ come with similar features but are only different in size. These devices both have a 50MP OIS main shooter, 12MP ultra-wide lens, 10MP telephoto lens, and a 12MP selfie shooter.
For the display, the Galaxy S23 arrives with a 6.1-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X, while the Galaxy S23+ has a larger 6.6-inch. Their display panels both support 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, HDR10+, and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.
Both also arrive with 8GB of RAM, but the Galaxy S23 only has up to 256GB, while the Plus variant has a larger up to 512GB internal storage. Since their size is different, the Galaxy S23 only has a 3,900mAh battery capacity with 25W wired charging support, meanwhile, the Galaxy S23+ has a bigger 4,700mAh battery that supports 45W fast wired charging like the Ultra variant. Besides, you can also charge them with a 10W wireless charger.
The Samsung Galaxy S23 series also features an in-display fingerprint scanner, IP68 rating, WiFi 6E, 5G, Bluetooth 5.3, and Two Dolby Atmos stereo speakers.
