Sharp Philippines Corporation has successfully concluded its month-long Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative held every Friday throughout February 2026, culminating in the turnover of Plasmacluster Air Purifiers to selected clinics and medical institutions.
The initiative reinforces the company’s commitment to public health by supporting cleaner and safer indoor environments for patients and healthcare professionals. With clinics accommodating individuals with various health conditions daily, maintaining good air quality remains essential across consultation rooms, waiting areas, and treatment spaces.
Sharp’s Plasmacluster Air Purifiers feature Plasmacluster Ion Technology, which releases positive and negative ions into the air to help neutralize airborne contaminants such as viruses, bacteria, mold, allergens, and odors. Unlike traditional filtration systems, this approach actively improves air quality within enclosed spaces.
This is especially relevant in healthcare settings, where cleaner air can help reduce irritants, support sanitation practices, and create a more comfortable environment for patients, particularly those with respiratory concerns or weakened immune systems.
During the February rollout, Sharp conducted turnover sessions and product demonstrations for each recipient institution. These sessions highlighted proper usage and maintenance, as well as the importance of air quality management in preventive healthcare and infection control.
Participating clinics expressed appreciation for the initiative, noting that improved air quality enhances both safety measures and overall patient experience.
Through this program, Sharp Philippines continues to demonstrate how its technology can extend beyond homes and contribute to community well-being. The initiative also underscores the company’s ongoing commitment to responsible corporate citizenship and meaningful partnerships within the healthcare sector.
