The award measures real-world video Quality of Experience (QoE) through fast video start times, uninterrupted playback, and full HD resolution.
Based on Speedtest Intelligence data from Q3-Q4 2025, Smart scored 78.60, the highest among mobile operators nationwide. Millions of Smart and TNT users now enjoy smoother streaming on YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, and Netflix, with faster start times and sharper HD quality.
Stephen Bye, CEO of Ookla, said that Smart’s recognition “is a testament to their industry-leading performance.”
Debbie M. Hu, Smart’s First VP and Head of Wireless Networks, added that the award affirms the company’s commitment to strengthening the network for Filipinos, who spend 20.48 hours weekly watching online videos, second highest globally.
This recognition follows Smart’s earlier award for Best Mobile Latency in the Philippines, highlighting the network’s speed and responsiveness.
