Huawei engineers used years of study on eye strain to reproduce key features of paper-like screens. They created models to assess eye comfort, screen feel, and handwriting feel while emphasizing anti-glare, eye protection, and a paper-like texture for stylus use.

It weighs only 475g and is 6.9mm thick, making it simple to handle for all family members. Available in Nebula Grey, the tablet has an integrated metal body constructed of 5 series aluminum alloys.
The HUAWEI MatePad SE 11″ is the first cellular tablet with a double-slit design, incorporating Huawei’s unique Metaslot antenna technology. The WiFi version has a sleek, slit-free design and the Cavity Slot Magnetic (CSM) antenna 2.0, which is resistant to metal interference and enables seamless signal transmission.
