vivo has launched Y53s 5G in China, its latest affordable 5G smartphone that has exciting features. To recall, vivo released a smartphone named Y53 way back in March 2017 and now launches this Y53s 5G. However, this might be a follow-up to their last year’s vivo Y52s but with a lower price.
This new awesome vivo smartphone features a 6.58-inch FHD+ IPS LCD screen that supports a 90Hz screen refresh rate. On the top of the screen, there is a dewdrop notch that has an 8MP selfie camera. Speaking of the camera, it has a dual rear camera setup which contains a 64MP main shooter and 4cm macro sensor.
Moreover, this phone has a sleek and very nice-looking design because of its gradient back. Besides, the vivo Y53s 5G measures 163.95 x 75.3 x 8.5mm and it only weighs 189 grams.
For the performance, it features the 8nm 2.0GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 Octa-core processor which has Adreno 619 GPU. They partnered this processor with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.
In addition, this phone also features a bigger 5,000mAh battery capacity with 18W of fast charging support. On a full charge, it claims up to 140 hours of music playback and up to 25 hours of the movie playing.
Other features of this phone are 5G connectivity, 4G LTE, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, and many more. Also, it runs on OriginOS 1.0 based on Android 11 OS.
Price and availability
The price of the based variant of vivo Y53s 5G that has 8GB/128GB is only CNY 1,799 (around PHP 13,4K). While the price of the higher variant with 8GB/256GB is CNY 1,999 (around PHP 14.9K). However, this will become only available in China on June 11. So, keep updated when this gorgeous phone will be available in the Philippines.
