The vivo V70 introduces a new AI Magic Weather feature that lets users change the weather and atmosphere of their photos directly on the phone. Weather and lighting often affect the mood of a shot, whether it’s a cloudy sky, harsh sunlight, or fading daylight. With this feature, creators can easily adjust the scene without waiting for the perfect conditions or using extra editing apps.
One portrait, four moods
Beauty and lifestyle creator Thalia Balmes recently demonstrated the feature through portrait photography. Using the vivo V70’s ZEISS Telephoto Portrait, she captured a single portrait and transformed it into four different moods using AI Magic Weather.
“One portrait. Four different moods. Captured with ZEISS Telephoto Portrait and transformed using AI Magic Weather on the vivo V70. Literal na no extra editing apps needed,” she shared.
The presets include Clear Sky, Morning Glow, Evening Glow, and Twilight, each creating a different atmosphere from the same image.
Experimenting with city photography
Lifestyle and travel creator Klervin Fernando also explored the feature by photographing a city building and applying different weather settings. By adjusting the sky and lighting, the same building appeared under a bright clear sky, a warm sunset glow, and a darker twilight mood.
This allows photographers to reinterpret everyday scenes and experiment with different visual styles using just one capture.
Built-in weather effects for photos
The AI Magic Weather feature offers several presets designed to instantly change the atmosphere of a photo:
- Clear Sky creates a bright look ideal for outdoor and travel shots
- Morning Glow adds soft, warm lighting
- Evening Glow introduces richer shadows and sunset tones
- Twilight shifts the scene into a darker, more dramatic mood
Because these adjustments are available directly on the device, users can experiment with different looks without relying on third-party editing apps.
Price and availability
The vivo V70 is available for pre-order at vivo stores nationwide and on Shopee until March 13, with savings of up to Php 7,000.
