In case you missed it, Xiaomi launched the new Xiaomi 17 Ultra on Christmas Day. This is Xiaomi’s latest flagship smartphone that boasts top-tier specs and features.
The new Xiaomi 17 Ultra arrived with a professional-grade rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP 1-inch Litght Hunter 1050L main camera, 200MP telephoto camera with 1/1.4-inch Samsung ISOCELL HPE sensor, and a 50MP ultra-wide lens.

It still comes with Leica optics and Lateral Overflow Integration Capacitor (LOFIC) that allows a dynamic range of 110dB. It is also the industry’s first Leica APO apochromatic certification on a phone, which eliminates purple fringing.
There’s also a Leica variant that features an exclusive Leica Camera Ring, a focus ring similar to professional cameras.
For performance, this device features the latest 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset paired with up to 16GB RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.1 internal storage. It is also powered by a huge 6,800mAh battery capacity that supports 90W wired and 50W wireless charging.
The Xiaomi 17 Ultra also has a large 6.9-inch LTPO AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, 120hz refresh rate, DCI-P3 Color Gamut, DC dimming, HDR Vivid, and HDR10+.
Xiaomi 17 Ultra Price and Availability
The Xiaomi 17 Ultra is now available in China with a price starting at PHP CNY 6,999 (around PHP 58.4K). There are no details about its local pricing and availability, but it will go global in the coming months.
