Finally, great news for the Xiaomi fans because the company revealed its first affordable 5G capable smartphone. Yesterday, Xiaomi conducted a global event and announced new devices including the Redmi Note 9T that supports the 5G technology. This device has a powerful performance with the latest technology.
Redmi Note 9T features the Dimensity 800U a 7nm fast mid-range octa-core SoC of MediaTek that has integrated 5G modem. 6.53” FHD+ DotDisplay that has TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification and protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Also, it has a 48MP AI triple camera setup and a 13MP in-display front camera. And a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.
Xiaomi stated that the battery can last for 3 years without notable degradation. Not only that, but Redmi Note 9T has 7 thermal sensors to avoid the risk of overheating. Also supports dual 5G sim and has a 4×4 MIMO symmetrical antenna layout.
Additionally, the device comes with a side-mounting fingerprint scanner, dual speakers, splash-proof nano-coating, IR Blaster, and NFC.

The 4GB/64GB variant price starts at EUR 229 (around PHP13.5K) while 4GB/128GB is EUR 269 (around PHP15.8K). It will have an early bird price of EUR 199(around PHP11.6K). However, there’s no announcement yet if when they will release the phone in the Philippines.
