Motorola has recently released the Moto E40, the newest member of their E-series lineup, which highlights a 90Hz screen refresh rate.

The Moto E40 boasts a 12nm UNISOC Tiger T700 octa-core processor that has a 1800MHz clock rate. This chip has ARM Mali-G52 MP2 GPU that MediaTek Helio G80 also featured. It indicates that this phone can run a lot of popular games in a decent performance. Also, you can multi-task with this phone since it has 4GB RAM which is a standard nowadays.
This new smartphone also has a 6.5-inch HD+ display that supports a 90Hz screen refresh rate. It also has an 8MP selfie camera packed in its punch hole. While it has a 48MP main shooter, 2MP macro lens, and 2MP depth sensor at the back. And all of your photos and videos or even apps and documents will be stored on its 64GB internal storage.
Moreover, Motorola claims that this phone will last up to 2 days since it has a large 5,000mAh battery capacity. However, expect many hours of charging time because it only supports 10W charging.
When it comes to its connectivity, it only has 4G LTE since its chipset doesn’t support the new 5G technology. Besides, it also has Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port.
In addition, it has a textured back made of polycarbonate for the design. It also features the famous Moto logo dimple, which functions as a fingerprint sensor. And for its software, it runs Android 11 with MyUX out of the box.
Price and availability
This latest Motorola Moto E40 has a price of EUR 149 (around PHP 8.7K). There’s no information yet when will be its availability. Additionally, Motorola plans to launch this phone in India on October 12, 2021.
