Home Credit Philippines (HCPH) hit a remarkable milestone by reaching 10 million consumers just in time for its celebration of a decade of unwavering service. Since 2013, the country’s top consumer finance firm has extended credit of P295.7 billion (as of December 2023) through installments, cash loans, and revolving credit products.
Home Credit PH has surpassed 10 million customers
Home Credit’s entry into the country 10 years ago provided a much-needed service to Filipinos who were underserved by traditional finance and were observed turning to informal and unregulated lending institutions.
Starting with mobile phones and gradually expanding to laptops and computers, furniture, home appliances, even bikes, sporting goods, home remodeling, and department store shopping.
In recent years, Home Credit expanded its range to include a credit card and the virtual limit Qwarta. With its ongoing improvements in offerings and services, the organization is considered a reliable partner in meeting the different demands of Filipinos from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
“Thanks to our easy and accessible consumer finance products, we supported countless Filipinos in acquiring gadgets, furniture, appliances, and more, to realize their goals for themselves and their families. In 2013, we began with just seven loans processed, but today, we have officially served over 10 million customers,” said Sheila Paul, Chief Marketing Officer of HCPH.
To date, Home Credit has signed over 22 million contracts, which include an amazing 17 million POS loans, over two million cash loans, and over two million revolving loans.
Mobile phones were the most popular POS loan type, with about 12 million financed units. Last year, Home Credit funded 1.7 million mobile phones thanks to its different promotions, including the most recent 0% APR on installment financing.
Filipino customers are likewise very interested in updating their living spaces and gadgets. The attractiveness of upgrading houses and converting to new technology items was significant, as seen by the financing of over one million televisions and 867,000 computers in the previous 10 years.
“We are grateful to our valued customers for entrusting us with their needs for ten years now. Serving as a lifestyle partner, we take great pleasure in playing a role in the lives of Filipinos, helping them achieve their aspirations. As we celebrate this remarkable milestone, we uphold our mission to be the country’s financial partner, and we maintain our unwavering commitment to innovation, ensuring our services continue to meet the diverse needs and lifestyles in the country,” Paul concluded.
