OnePlus internationally announces its latest Nord 2 5G and it is now available for pre-order here in the Philippines. This new 5G smartphone equips the most powerful MediaTek’s Dimensity 1200 chipset partnered with up to 12GB of RAM.

The new OnePlus Nord 2 boasts a 6.43-inch FHD+ Fluid AMOLED display that supports a 90Hz screen refresh rate. Its screen also features sRGB as well as a DCI-P3 color gamut, video enhancement, AI-Super resolution, and an In-Display fingerprint scanner. On the upper-left of the screen is a punch hole that carries a 32MP selfie camera.
For its core, OnePlus equipped this device with a customized MediaTek Dimensity 1200 Octa-core processor with ARM G77 MC9 GPU. It also has up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 fast internal storage. This device runs in OxygenOS 11.3 based on Android 11 and has a 4,500mAh battery capacity with a 65W Warp charge.
Moreover, its triple rear camera setup has a 50MP main-shooter, 8MP ultra-wide lens, and 2MP mono lens. Nord 2 5G also features optical image stabilization, nightscape ultra, and night portraits so expect great photos and videos with this device. OnePlus also claimed that they used MediaTek’s DORA AI platform to enhance the AI-focused features of this phone.

Another cool feature of this phone is its dual-stereo speakers with customized Dirac drivers so expect a great music experience. Besides, you can also experience the speed of 5G connectivity and faster connections with its WiFi 6.
