    OVERALL WINNER : BOOSTEVEN R281 (CAT 6)

    Recommendation

Please avoid buying the new GREEN PACKET CAT 6. The old version DH725 is now faced out by PLDT while the new one D2K is only 4G and 2.4GHz Wifi which falls short to other PLDT CAT 6. A congested area like my place Cebu City is not suitable for now for 4G only data unless you are so near the tower. The DH725 as I observed has the weakest durability as right now the antenna is lousy and base on my test the signal is so week unlike when it was first bought it.

For PLDT CAT 4, for my test they are okay. My recommendation is for the Black version since the white has a lot of reports that it will disconnect after a couple of use.

For Evoluzn ID5 In my place it is slow but as reading on other comments their ID5 is good and consistent. Maybe once there is admin access for Evoluzn ID5 it will improve rapidly. And in addition, ID5 is the only modem that has a WAN Port where you can connect your existing modem and make it a bridge.

For our winner BOOSTEVEN R281, in my place, it is really good and it exceeded my expectation. Externa antenna input is also available for R281 which makes it the more reliable for options. But before you buy please research more since I read some comments that there BOOSTEVEN R281 always disconnected. I would suggest to join on some facebook group for prepaid wifi and ask or check some of the comments.

    Conclusion

Before you buy this kind of modem. Please check first the signal strength in your place. You can use Cellmapper or OpenSignal App to check your current signal status.

And you can buy this Prepaid wifi in PLDT OFFICIAL STORE or in Shopee and Lazada.
