ASUS just announced its newest small but terrible flagship smartphone featuring the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, the Zenfone 9.

The new ASUS Zenfone 9 comes with huge upgrades from its predecessor. It now powers with the powerful 4nm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 octa-core chipset that has great performing Adreno GPU. This device also comes with up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM which is very plenty, and up to 256GB UFS3.1 internal storage.
Moreover, it is also a compact size phone since it only has a 5.9-inch 20:9 Samsung AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution. It also supports up to 120Hz screen refresh rate, up to 1100nits max brightness, HDR10+, 151.9% sRGB, and Always-on display. Its screen also has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection.
Zenfone 9 also boasts the 50MP Sony IMX766 main rear camera that has Quad Bayer technology and a 6-Axis Hybrid Gimbal stabilizer. Along with it is the 12MP Sony IMX363 ultra-wide lens that supports a 4cm macro shot and real-time distortion correction. Meanwhile, its front camera is the 12MP Sony IMX663 sensor that also supports dual phase detection autofocus.
According
to ASUS, its rear camera can shoot up to 8K@24fps, 4k@30/60fps, 1080p@30/60fps
with HyperSteady, and up to 4k@120fps for slow motion. Its front camera shoots
up to 4K@30fps or 1080p@60fps.
For connectivity, it has WiFi 6/6E, 5G, 4G LTE, NFC, and Bluetooth 5.2 that supports Qualcomm aptX lossless technology. It also has dual stereo speakers with Dirac HD Sound, and two mics with OZO Audio Noise Reduction technology.
As for the battery, it only packs with 4,300mAh battery capacity which is just right for its size. ASUS claims that it can last up to 1.9 days based on normal usage or up to 18.5 hours of video playback. This phone also supports up to 30W HyperCharge technology.
Other features are IP68 water and dust resistance, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, FFC Technology, Android 12, and USB Type-C. The available colorways of this phone are Starry Blue, Moonlight White, Sunset Red, and Midnight Black.
